Let Them Not be Forgotten was written as a tribute to honor fallen heroes everywhere, but specifically, the composer had in mind the firefighters of 9/11.

Written in the key of G, with no accidentals, 4/4 time throughout, the viola doubles violin 2, bass doubles cello. There are detache bow strokes, pizzicato, a few 2 note slurs, easy rhythms, and everyone gets a melody line! Piano is optional. This piece sounds harder than it is and is suitable for all ages!
